Celine Lee

CZ Art Design was founded by me in 2010, initially just a simple artistic dream. Over time, I discovered that minimalism was the field I loved most. The purity, simplicity, and deep energy it embodies inspired me greatly. In 2020, my friend Ethan Hill, who is also a follower of minimalism, joined my team. Together, we formed a small group to share the responsibilities of running the online store, allowing us to focus more on creation and ensure that each piece is presented perfectly while better meeting customer needs.

From 2014 to 2017, I ran a shop on Etsy, selling over 3,000 pieces within five years. As orders poured in like a snowball, my small studio faced immense pressure. Each piece was crafted with care, but the constant influx of orders made me realize I couldn't continue in that way. After careful consideration, I decided to close the Etsy shop and only accept a manageable number of orders on czartdesign.com. This choice allowed me to regain my creative freedom while also providing more time for family, helping me balance my personal life with work.

Minimalism has always been at the core of my creative process; it is not just a style but a way of life. By simplifying elements and emphasizing form and space, I hope to convey a sense of inner peace and strength. This art form perfectly aligns with the needs of most interior designs, making our works uniquely appealing in various environments. As a result, our collaborations with interior designers have been on the rise, and the ways we work together have become increasingly diverse, from custom pieces to exhibition showcases, strengthening our relationships.

Ethan Hill's addition has brought new energy and creativity to the team, and his artistic perspective complements my own vision, enriching our product line. He has not only helped alleviate the pressure of orders but has also taken on responsibilities for photography, image processing, and customer service, ensuring that every client receives the best experience. Our goal is united: to create art that is more engaging and emotionally resonant, allowing every admirer of our works to feel the beauty of minimalism. Together, we look forward to continuing to present more inspiring art pieces in the days to come.

From childhood doodles to professional canvases, my journey has been one of constant exploration. Minimalism became my language, a way to express complexity through simplicity. I strive to create art that resonates not through excess, but through quiet impact, where less truly becomes more.

My process is guided by intuition and restraint, allowing each composition to emerge organically. Every stroke is intentional, every space carefully considered. I find inspiration in the balance between presence and absence, using contrast, texture, and form to evoke emotion without overwhelming the senses.
